Diplomats are systematically working to implement a strategy to protect Ukraine and Ukrainians and deter the Russian Federation from pursuing aggressive intentions. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba told about it on Monday evening on the air of Freedom of Speech.Dmytro Kuleba spoke about the diplomatic strategy of our state and partners which is based on the principle of No agreement on Ukraine without Ukraine.In case of any agreements between the partners at the expense of Ukrainian interests Ukraine will reject such agreements. Partners know this. But as of now there are no indicators of the adoption of such agreements the Minister assured.The Ukrainian strategy includes in particular close coordination of the partners position with Ukraine before and after contacts with the Russian side.We have built a strategy for network diplomacy. When each partner does what it can in communication with Russia but coordinates the position with Ukraine before and after such contacts. At present there are no agreements on Ukraine behind Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba stressed.The head of Ukrainian diplomacy noted the unprecedented level of international support that Ukraine has today against the background of Russias aggressive actions. He recalled the implementation by Ukraine and its partners of a comprehensive containment package for Russia which includes active diplomacy tough economic sanctions and enhanced defense cooperation with Ukraine. Implementing this strategy reduces risks and deters Russia from pursuing aggressive intentions.In particular Dmytro Kuleba noted that last year Ukraine received the largest amount of military aid from the United States in all the years of Russian aggression which amounted to 650 million.He also noted that the partners support Ukraine in maintaining financial and economic stability despite the economic challenges amid Russias escalation.The Minister cited the example of the EU decision to provide 1.2 billion euros in macro-financial support which is a direct result of talks between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.In addition Canada Denmark the United States Germany and a number of other partners have already stated their readiness to support Ukraines economy.
