The man was selling logins and passwords to access mailboxes social networking accounts and e-wallets. He did this in private forums and with the help of messengers. The indictment is currently being sent to court. He faces up to 5 years in prison.Cyber police officers in the Khmelnytsky region together with officers of the investigative department and the company of special purpose police of the SUNP in the Khmelnytsky region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutors office exposed a 30-year-old local resident in the sale and distribution of information with restricted access stored computer.The cyber police found that the man had leaked confidential information to Internet users. Namely logins and passwords for access to various online resources electronic mailboxes social networking accounts and e-wallets.The person involved in the database bought the person involved in thematic hacking forums. The offender then checked the logins and passwords for a positive financial balance and subsequently sold them in closed forums and with the help of messengers.Law enforcement officers searched the place of residence of the person involved. As a result computer equipment information storage devices and personal communications were removed.On this fact criminal proceedings under Art. 361-2 Unauthorized sale or distribution of restricted access information stored in electronic computers computers automated systems computer networks or media of such information of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The case is currently headed to court. The man faces up to 5 years in prison.
