This constitutes an IT8 infraction, qualified as very serious, and leads to the temporary suspension of the companys authorization.As part of the inspection actions carried out throughout Peru, the Superintendence of Land Transportation of Persons, Load and Merchandise (Sutran) closed the Vehicle Technical Inspection Center (CITV) reviewed Peru S.A.C., located in the city of Trujillo, La Libertad Region, for finding irregularities in the conditions of its equipment.
Staff of the Deconcentrated Unit (UD) of the Sutran in La Libertad reached the premises of this company, located on Nicolas de Pierola Avenue No. 1571, of the Mampos 2025.
This constitutes the IT8 infraction, qualified as very serious, contemplated in the table of infractions and sanctions of the National Regulations of Technical Vehicle Inspections, which leads to the temporary suspension of the authorization to operate.
Given this irregularity, the Verification Act No. 7807000098 was raised and the preventive measure of paralysis of activities and temporary closure of the premises was arranged, which can be lifted if the observations of the specialists of the Sutran, entity attached to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) are exceeded.
A slack detector is a technological device used in CITV to evaluate the condition of the suspension and direction systems of a vehicle, bruises and damping. Its main function is to identify any wear, misalignment or problems with the frame itself (chassis).
Under the management of the Superintendent Pavel Ruiz Cueva, the Sutran began an intensification plan for control actions to land transport services throughout Peru, to guarantee respect for road standards and user safety. This includes complementary services such as CITV, certifiers, conversion workshops to GNV and LPG, driver schools and medical centers.
