Tahsil TV, the first internet television platform in the field of education in the Republic of Azerbaijan, launched its new official website. The platform operating at tehsil.tv makes it possible to present innovations in the field of education, news, video materials, programs and live broadcasts in a single digital space.
The main goal of the new platform is to communicate the processes taking place in the field of education to the public in a more efficient and accessible form, to expand the access to quality educational content for pupils, students, teachers and parents.
Users can access the platform through computers, tablets, smartphones, and Smart TVs to read educational news, watch video materials and programs, and watch live broadcasts. Educational events, interviews, discussions, conferences and special programs are also presented in real time through YouTube integration.
Content on the platform is structured around 6 main sections: News, Press Releases, Shorts, Shows, Discover and Live. Through these sections, users are provided with easier access to educational content in various formats.
The new digital platform of Tahsil TV has not only an informational function, but also functions as a single media resource for communicating reforms, state policies, innovative approaches and successful practices in the field of education to the general public.
It should be noted that Tahsil TV, a broadcast channel of the Ministry of Science and Education, has been operating since 2015. In 2021, with the establishment of the Institute of Education, the television station, which was registered as an LLC, was granted a platform broadcasters license that does not carry out satellite broadcasting by the decision of the Audiovisual Council dated December 20, 2022.
Today, Tahsil TV operates as a modern media platform that serves to deliver the reforms implemented in the field of education, state policy, innovative approaches and successful practices to the public in an efficient, objective and accessible manner. Tahsil TV also has a wide audience on social media platforms. There are more than 100,000 followers on the Facebook page, 58,000 followers on the Instagram account, 42,000 followers on the YouTube channel, 40,000 followers on the TikTok account, and over 13,000 followers on the LinkedIn page. WhatsApp and Telegram channels each have more than 3 thousand users.
