📋 Tender Overview
On April 1, 2025, a contract supplement comes into force that regulates the remuneration of the services of people who complete further training in psychotherapy (assistant psychotherapists). These psychologists are supervised by a specialist with psychotherapeutic further training. Psychotherapy remunerated by IV is important in the case of autism spectrum disorders of children and young adults.
In the currently valid psychotherapy collective agreement of the IV, the remuneration of the services of assistant psychotherapists is not intended. In order to be able to offset services you provide in the future, the IV remuneration will be explicitly regulated. The corresponding appendix to the existing collective agreement was negotiated between the Federal Office for Social Insurance (BSV) and the specialist associations for psychology and psychotherapy on April 1, 2025. In the case of the new therapists in the collective agreement, they are psychologists who are in further training in psychological psychotherapy.
They are employed in a practice or in an institution and take the therapies under the responsibility and supervision of trained psychotherapists with a cantonal practice permit. The responsible specialist is an invoice presenter. Based on the current provisional regulation in the area of mandatory nursing insurance, the benefits of assistant psychotherapists are offset against 10% to the regular psychotherapy tariff. It is of great importance for the IV that in view of a growing need for psychotherapy offers, there are enough well-qualified specialists available. With the solution now available, the BSV counteracts an undersupply. Psychotherapy is important in children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, but also in other mental health problems.
