In 2018, AB Transitio signed a contract with Bombardier Transportation Sweden AB (today Alstom) regarding upgrading the train protection system in Regina and Coradia.
The vehicles are used by Norrtåg AB and a total of 3 Regina and 12 Coradia have been upgraded.
The vehicles have now received permanent approval in accordance with the legislation for the 4th railway package, which means that approval has been sought for the respective vehicle type in the One Stop Shop (OSS) and that conformity with the respective vehicle type is applied for the serial vehicles.
