Sensys Gatso Group a global leader in traffic safety systems through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso USA has been selected as the automated red light enforcement provider for Pelham Manor NY. This new managed service program is expected to generate approximately USD 875000 corresponding to SEK 7.9 million over the five-year term.Pelham Manor is a town in Westchester County New York with feeder roads carrying commuters into New York City each day. The high volume of daily traffic brings red light violators to this small community putting its residents drivers and pedestrians at risk. Automated red light enforcement is a realistic choice for Pelham Manor offering enforcement 247 while leaving the towns police officers free to handle other important matters.The program will commence in the second half of 2022 and will consist of fixed T-Series red light systems. The five year contract also allows for several one-year extensions.We consider this a win for Pelham Manor.
