The Peruvian Airports and Commercial Aviation Corporation (CORPAC) informs the public and air transport users that the operations scheduled at the Jaen Airport for Tuesday, February 10 have been suspended due to the heavy rains recorded in the area, which have prevented the completion of the maintenance work that has been carried out on the runway under the required operational safety standards.
During Tuesday and Wednesday, maintenance work will continue to be carried out to the extent that weather conditions allow, with the aim of completing the work and leaving the track in optimal conditions.
The resumption of air operations is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, after verification of compliance with the corresponding safety standards.
CORPAC reaffirms its commitment to the safety and continuity of airport services, and appreciates the understanding of passengers and users regarding the inconvenience that these measures may cause, which are adopted for the benefit of safe and efficient air operations.
