The budget increase for scholarships in the Cecap exceeds 15,000,000 pesos, according to the Accountability project presented by the Executive Branch on June 30 before Parliament. To this, resources are added to strengthen teaching teams.
The 22 educational centers for training, art and production (Cecap) serve adolescents and young people between 14 and 20 years old in situations of social vulnerability who are not studying and have not completed basic secondary education. To promote this task, article 208 of the aforementioned norm promotes a budget reinforcement of 15,788,000 pesos to respond to the demand for scholarships in the aforementioned centers, in order to promote the recruitment, attendance, and permanence of these young people in the educational system.
Likewise, in article 209 of the bill, funds are allocated to βexpand the resources allocated to teaching teamsβ, in order to βstrengthen the support proposals from each of the Cecapsβ.
In the message, it is recalled that the Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Culture is working on the design of initiatives to support trajectories and extend educational time, in coordination with other organizations and levels of government.
