📋 Tender Overview
Regulator supervises that the EPS implements contingency measures and calls for a solution that allows the service to return to normal.Given the situation that temporarily affects the supply of drinking water in the province of Ilo, the National Superintendency of Sanitation Services (Sunass) has been supervising that EPS Ilo S. A. implements the corresponding contingency measures, promptly informs users and adopts the necessary actions to minimize the impact of this situation.
On the other hand, Sunass urges the competent authorities and the parties involved to reach a prompt solution that allows normal service to be restored and safeguard the populations access to drinking water, especially health establishments, hospitals, educational institutions and other essential services.
Likewise, the regulator asks the population to make responsible and rational use of drinking water, while normal service conditions are restored.
In this sense, it is recommended to use stored water mainly for essential household needs and avoid excessive or unnecessary storage, as this could hinder equitable access to the resource for the entire population.
Likewise, Sunass invites citizens to remain calm and obtain information only through the official channels of EPS Ilo S. A., where the supply schedules and the actions it has been implementing to guarantee the continuity of the service will be communicated.
For questions, guidance or to report inconveniences related to the provision of the service, users can call Sunass 1899, or visit their office at 200 Lima Street, Mariscal Nieto - Moquegua, or their regional line (053) 291028.
