Entity urged to adopt measures to restore supply in the Terminal area, in the district of San Juan Bautista.The National Superintendency of Sanitation Services (Sunass) requested the Regional Government of Loreto (Gore Loreto) to adopt actions to restore drinking water in the Terminal area, Moronacocha urbanization, district of San Juan Bautista, affected by the execution of a road work.
During the Sunass intervention, residents reported the interruption of drinking water since the beginning of the infrastructure works that are currently close to completion. Given this, the regulator formally communicated the problem to Gore, as it is the entity responsible for the execution of the work.
Sunass requested that, within the framework of its powers, the situation be evaluated and the necessary actions be taken to correct the damage caused, restore the conditions that allow the adequate provision of drinking water and prevent risks to the health of the population.
The regulator recalled that any intervention in public infrastructure must be carried out considering the continuity of basic services and the protection of users. Likewise, it will continue to monitor the case and coordinate with the entities for a solution for the benefit of the population.
