Employees of the monitoring department and the state water cadastre and the department of hydrology and water protection areas of the leading institute in the field of water resources management of the Republican Unitary Enterprise TsNIIKIVR joined forces to study the water balance of the Viliya River.The institute reported this to sb.by. In the Ostrovetsky district of the Grodno region, in the water intake area of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, joint expeditionary research is being carried out on the Viliya River, experts informed.-- To obtain accurate data, a modern unmanned hydrographic system Apache 4 is used. This allows measurements to be carried out with high accuracy and efficiency.Experts record key parameters of the hydrological regime of the river: water flow, water levels and flow speeds.
The data obtained will make it possible to clarify the parameters of the hydrological regime of the Viliya River and ensure the relevance of the information from the state water cadastre, the institute noted.
