📋 Tender Overview

Innovative product based on quinoa, kiwicha and tarwi won the Fondep National Competition and is financed by MineduStudents from the Public La Libertad de Huamanga Technical Productive Education Center (CETPRO) developed a line of cookies made with quinoa, kiwicha and tarwi flours to help reduce child malnutrition.

The project, started in March 2026, is called DELIBFORGA (Delicias Libertenas Fortificando la Gastronomia Ayacuchana) and won the National Competition for Innovation Projects 2025 of the National Fund for the Development of Peruvian Education (Fondep) of the Ministry of Education (Minedu), which allowed it to obtain financing of 100,000 soles, as well as technical assistance.

DELIBFORGA has an initial production of 2,000 snacks per month and is developed by 25 students from the Cooking and Child Care program at CETPRO La Libertad, who are guided by a Baking and Pastry technical team. The product will soon be validated by 100 children and adolescents and is expected to have 80% acceptance.

Unlike other products, DELIBFORGA fuses Andean grains that provide proteins, iron, fiber and vitamins, with natural conservation techniques and an attractive presentation for the market.

Currently, the cookies, which already have a health registration, are sold at the institution and in school cafeterias, but the goal for the end of the school year, in November, is to additionally produce 1,000 monthly units aimed at social programs and conclude strategic agreements with municipalities and private companies.

In this regard, the Minister of Education, Jorge Marticorena, highlighted the efforts of the Ayacucho educational community and the impact of the sectors innovation funds, as well as the social impact of technical education.

Likewise, he pointed out that, through Fondep, Minedu will continue to promote projects that strengthen employment and entrepreneurship, and that respond to regional needs such as the fight against malnutrition.

The La Libertad Public CETPRO has 198 students enrolled in 8 study programs, divided into the Technical Auxiliary level (Administrative Support, Child and Elder Care, and Baking and Pastry) and the Technical level (Cooking, Styling, Textile Manufacturing, Electronics and IT).

DELIBFORGA snacks are now on sale to the general public and those interested can place their orders directly at the institution or by calling 910 970 646 or 066-610268.
