📋 Tender Overview
The Tourism Training Center (CENFOTUR), official educational entity of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), continues to promote the professionalization of the sector through its Plan for the Strengthening of Competencies (PFC), which provides free training to collaborators of tourism services companies in various regions of Peru.
During the months of November and December, CENFOTUR facilitators will travel to 25 regions of the country, including: Ica, Tacna, Arequipa, La Libertad, Piura, Lima Provinces, Metropolitan Lima, Callao, Madre de Dios, Loreto, Cajamarca, Huanuco, Ancash, Ucayali, Cusco, Moquegua, Puno, Junin, Apurimac, Amazonas, Tumbes, Ayacucho, Loreto, San Martin and Lambayeque.
Participants will access specialized courses such as: visual merchandising for tourism companies; leadership and teamwork for business innovation; HACCP for restaurants and related services (hazard analysis and critical control points); culinary production systems; design of tourist circuits; management of social networks for entrepreneurs; waste management for restaurants and related services; operations management in lodging establishments; 360 customer experience; control and optimization of losses in restaurants; costs, budget and financial principles in tourism; culinary techniques; good practices for the design of tourist packages; among others that cover key topics for development and innovation in the sector.
CENFOTUR continues to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector, providing key tools to improve the countrys tourism offer and contribute to the sustainable development of the industry. With this initiative, we seek to promote the growth of tourism professionals, guaranteeing high standards of quality and attention to visitors.
This year, the Plan for Strengthening Skills contemplates the execution of 293 free training courses nationwide, benefiting more than 11,720 people linked to tourism. In this way, CENFOTUR reaffirms its commitment to the continuous improvement of the countrys tourism offering.

About the Plan for Strengthening Skills (PFC)
The PFC is a free CENFOTUR intervention that has been developed since 2015, in coordination with regional and local governments (DIRCETURES, GERCETURES and municipalities). Its objective is to contribute to the growth of the sector by training collaborators who are part of the tourism value chain, raising quality standards in the services provided nationally.
