After attending the meeting starred today at the Integration Bridge by President Mario Abdo Bentez and his Brazilian counterpart Jair Bolsonaro Public Works Minister Rodolfo Segovia visited the future ANNP cargo terminal in the city of Presidente Franco Alto Paran.In the place he met with the representatives of the CEP Consortium one of those in charge of the construction of this new headquarters of the National Administration of Port Navigation ANNP where they informed him about the works in execution.This project which is carried out with the TIV Consortium is part of the package of complementary works for the Integration Bridge that will link the cities of Presidente Franco Paraguay and Foz de Iguaz Brazil.This is one of several contracts for the construction of the Eastern Metropolitan Corridor whose road component consists of a rural access an urban access and the construction of a bridge over the WhatsApp Image 2022-08-31 at 1.19.40 PM.jpegMonday River involving the towns of Presidente Franco Ciudad del Este Los Cedrales Minga Guaz and Hernandarias. For rural access a 4-lane paved road is planned Lots 1 and 2 that will have an extension of almost 31 km. This new highway will connect with the new border crossing and includes its intersection with National Route PY02. Regarding urban access or interconnection to the existing network it is an asphalt paving work 4.6 km long in the city of Presidente Franco. To this we must add access to the ANNP road access to the second bridge over the Paran River the connection with rural access to the junction with the bridge to be built over the Monday River as well as the reinforcement of temporary service roads.
