During the night of this Saturday November 16 on Sunday 17 will be carried out operations of adaptation of the signaling system in the tunnels of Barcelona that will allow optimizing the flow of railway traffic Given the need to act on facilities in service between the start of the service and 0630 hours on Sunday a special schedule is established and the passengers of the affected trains will be directed to the Metro servicesAdif will execute on Saturday November 16 on Sunday 17 a new phase of the work framed in the ERTMS system implementation project in the LHospitalet-Matar line.Specifically operations will be carried out in the two urban tunnels of Barcelona consisting of a new distribution of the signaling system and of the beacons of the ASFA equipment Signal Announcement and Automatic Braking in the area of the Passeig de Grcia stations and Clot and of the Forks of Sagrera Marina and Arag as well as in the relations with the lines towards Sant Andreu Comtal and Badalona.In this way it will be possible to optimize the flow of rail traffic on these routes in which it is intended to take full advantage of the functionalities offered by the ERTMS system at level 2.Affectation to the serviceGiven the need to operate in facilities in service It is essential to interrupt the circulation in the tunnels of Passeig de Grcia and Plaa de Catalunya so between the beginning of the service and 0630 hours next Sunday Renfe has established a special schedule for the 20 trains that will be affected.- Trains line R1 start or end your tour in Badalona- Services lines R3 and R4 north end or start in Sant Andreu Arenal- Trains lines R2 south start or end in Sant Andreu Comtal- South R2 south and R4 south trainroutes start or end in Barcelona Sants The affected travelers will go to the Metro service in Badalona Line 4 Sant Andreu Comtal Sant Andreu Arenal and LHospitalet Line 1 and Sants Line 5 and Line 3The rest of the day trains will run normally according to their usual schedule.
