📋 Tender Overview
On January 5 2023 at the 30th regular session the government adopted technical security requirements for cryptographic solutions that are security-appropriate for dealing with secret data of various levels of secrecy.Article 80 paragraph three of the Decree on the Protection of Secret Data stipulates that the government shall determine in more detail the technical security requirements for cryptographic solutions that are security-appropriate for dealing with secret data of various levels of secrecy.Handling of classified data outside the administrative or security area is permitted using cryptographic solutions for which a certificate of security adequacy has been issued. The certificate is issued by the national security authority based on the procedure for determining the suitability of cryptographic solutions. In the process of determining the security adequacy of a cryptographic solution the national security authority checks among other things the fulfillment of basic security requirements for cryptographic solutions that are used to protect secret data of various levels of secrecy. In addition to the use of cryptographic algorithms of various levels the basic security requirements also determine the technical security requirements that an individual cryptographic solution must meet in order to be security adequate for the protection of confidential data.
