In the valid Plan of Development Programs 2023 - 2026, the government included two new projects Connection to the Mrzlek water supply system and the Kopriviš?e water supply system.
The current Plan of Development Programs 2023 - 2026 includes the investment of the Kanal ob So?a Municipality, the construction of the "Connection to the Mrzlek water system". The state will co-finance the construction in the amount of 1,200,000.00 euros. The object of the investment is the construction of the "Connection to the Mrzlek water supply system" in the Municipality of Kanal ob So?a, where the inhabitants are still supplied with drinking water from the water that flows through the Anhova cement plant and with rainwater from their own aquifers. The construction of the water supply system will ensure the much-needed supply of clean drinking water to the inhabitants of the area under consideration. It is a demographically endangered, less developed area, and by improving the water supply, the aim is to maintain the population of the area and reduce the need for emigration. At the same time, the construction of a public water supply system also means an improvement in fire safety in the area of ??the municipality.
The Kopriviš?e water supply system project envisages the construction of a 2,000 meter long water supply system to the village of Kopriviš?e in the Municipality of Kanal ob So?a and a new supply of drinking water to the settlement in the Kopriviš?e settlement. 400,000.00 euros are guaranteed for this project.
