📋 Tender Overview
The Archives of the Republic of Slovenia carried out the first part of the move to new premises at Poljanska cesta 40 between September 2 and 27, 2024. Archive material, which was inaccessible for a while during the move, is once again available to users in the archive reading room at Zvezdarska Street 1. During the relocation, the archive reading room will continue to be open during the summer working hours, from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Last week, the Archive of the Republic of Slovenia finished moving part of the archival material and the complete collection of the archive library from the premises at 1 Zvezdarska Street to 40 Poljanska Street and 4 Kapusovo Street (former barracks complex along Roška Street). We moved 29 archival funds and collections, or about 2,300 running meters (tm) of archival material, from the depots at Zvezdarska ulica 1 to Kapusova ulica 4 and Poljanska cesta 40. It is the archival material that, according to more than ten years of statistics of the archival reading room, is the most used. The mentioned material has been available again in the archive reading room since September 16. We also moved the complete library collection of the special archive library from Zvezdarska ulica to Poljanska cesta, which comprises almost 30,000 units or 700 tm.
In the opposite direction, we moved some archival material, which, according to the statistics of the archive reading room, is very little used and does not need to be constantly at hand. It concerns 12 funds and collections or 2,000 tm. Together, we moved archival and library materials totaling 5,000 mt in September.
In the coming weeks, we will continue with the relocation of technological equipment and archive staff.
