The Special Representative for Denmarks candidature for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council UNSC H.E. Mr Kristian Jensen paid a courtesy call on the Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs Ambassador Vivianne Fock Tave at Maison Quau de Quinssy on Friday 4th February 2022.H.E. Mr Jensen briefed Ambassador Fock Tave on the stance of the Danish government towards tackling global challenges and its objectives should they secure a non-permanent seat on the Council for the term 2025-2026.Ambassador Fock Tave reflected on the excellent cooperation between Seychelles and Denmark notably in the field of Maritime Security. Ambassador Fock Tave called on Denmark as a member of the European Union to advocate for the vulnerabilities of Small Island Developing States SIDS like Seychelles. Also present at the meeting were Mr Basil Soundy Honorary Consul for Denmark and senior officials of the Foreign Affairs Department.
