📋 Tender Overview
The adoption of the new Country Programme Development (CPD) 2024-2028 between the Government of Seychelles and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) was amongst the points of discussion between Mr. Sylvestre Radegonde, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, and Ms. Amanda Serumaga, the Resident Representative of the UNDP for Mauritius and Seychelles.
Ms. Serumaga is on official mission in the country and during the meeting on Tuesday, 27th February 2024 she provided updates about the work of the UNDP in the country, including resource mobilisation for the new CPD 2024-2028, expansion of the project portfolio beyond the environment sector and the way forward on a number of new engagement plans.
Minister Radegonde was also updated on the Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) initiative, a joint initiative of the UNDP and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), currently being implemented to offer crucial support to the Seychelles Revenue Commission.
Minister Radegonde also thanked Ms. Serumaga for her personal commitment towards Seychelles. “I would like to reiterate our full commitment to working with you and your team”, he added. The minister was also presented with a copy of the Country Programme Development 2024 – 2028.
