On May 14, 2024, Ambassador Lin Nan and Seychelles Minister of Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment Joubert visited the farm to introduce the Juncao planting project and exchange views on China-Seychelles cooperation in the agricultural field.
Ambassador Lin said that China's Juncao foreign aid project has been implemented for more than 20 years. Under the personal care and promotion of President Xi Jinping, Juncao, as "Chinese grass" and "happy grass", has been deployed in more than 100 countries and regions around the world, benefiting global poverty alleviation. Make important contributions to agriculture, environmental protection and sustainable development. China is willing to discuss the feasibility of implementing the Juncao project with Serbia, and provide technical guidance and support to promote the implementation of the Juncao planting project in Serbia.
Joubert thanked China for its support for the Juncao project. Local farmers are very interested in growing Juncao. Serbia is willing to maintain close communication with China, introduce China's Juncao cultivation industry through technical training, bilateral exchanges and other methods, and explore China and Serbia have more potential for cooperation in the agricultural field.
