In 2024, school certification exams in the Novosibirsk region will be held under the surveillance of Rostelecom cameras. The company has equipped 98 regional exam points and 29 regional exam points with a video monitoring system. The first exams will begin today - May 21.
Governor of the Novosibirsk region Andrey Travnikov:
“The time for final exams for schoolchildren is approaching. The municipalities of our region are ready to conduct state final certification in 2024. There is also an innovation - the opportunity to retake one subject in regular time appears for the children for the first time this year. This was done by order of the President of Russia.”
According to the regional Ministry of Education, over 14.9 thousand people registered to participate in the main period of the Unified State Exam this year, and almost 36.3 thousand registered for the Unified State Exam.
Vice President, Director of the Novosibirsk branch of Rostelecom Nikolay Zenin:
“Digital technologies guarantee transparency of the examination process and minimize controversial situations. In the Novosibirsk region, we have been providing video surveillance during the Unified State Exam for many years, and this year a similar system will be used for the first time when taking the Unified State Exam.”
