π Tender Overview
Windows devices are experiencing a crash around the world. According to the Register, this is due to an error in an update from information security solutions provider CrowdStrike. Users are complaining about the appearance of a "blue screen of death" on Windows 10 devices.
"CrowdStrike is aware of reports of crashes on Windows hosts related to the Falcon program. Symptoms include hosts experiencing a bugcheckblue screen error related to the Falcon sensor," the company said in a statement.
Falcon Sensor is a security system that CrowdStrike claims blocks cyberattacks.
The failure is global in nature. In addition to American publications, the Australian broadcaster ABC News also reports problems with Windows. Against the backdrop of news about the Windows failure, problems have also arisen for international air carriers.
