On October 4 the Federal State Budget Institution Sverdlovsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor received an order from the Federal Accreditation Service Rosaccreditation to confirm competence and expand the scope of accreditation of the institutions testing laboratory.The testing laboratory successfully passed the procedure and fully confirmed compliance with the requirements of the accreditation criteria approved by order of the Ministry of Economic Development of May 30 2014 No. 326 and the requirements of GOST ISO IEC 17025 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This information is entered in the Register of accredited persons.According to the results of the work of the Rosaccreditation Commission the field of accreditation of the testing laboratory was expanded by 90 test methods. The range of studies has increased by 190 new indicators of which more than half are in the indicators for determining the residual quantities of drugs in food products and food raw materials of animal origin. The capabilities of the PCR diagnostics department have been significantly expanded in terms of determining species-specific DNA and detecting phytopathogens. The plant quarantine department of the reference center went through the procedure of confirming the competence and expanding the area of accreditation in two places of activity which will allow more efficient phytosanitary control of goods passing through the state border.The testing laboratory of the Federal State Budget Institution Sverdlovsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor has once again confirmed its high level of professionalism and the effectiveness of the existing quality management system.
