Sberbank has concluded an agreement with the Kursk Region administration. The document was signed by CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank Herman Gref and Acting Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoyt at the Russian Investment Forum.The agreement determines the basis of the parties cooperation in financial and lending areas for social and economic development of the Kursk Region. In particular the regional authorities will provide informational support in promoting cashless payment.The parties agreed on cooperation While implementing investment projects to increase gross regional product and industrial diversification of the regional economy While supporting small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in the region Under programmes of infrastructure development of municipal facilities in the region housing construction and provision of urban amenities and reforming of housing and utilities infrastructure On implementation of the programme on provision of state and municipal services online On development of a system to provide financial services to residents through remote service channels.The Kursk Region administration and Sberbank also declared the possibility of joint organisation of round tables educational events workshops and training sessions on modern trends and the prospects of personnel development.
