For the tenth time in a row, Rostelecom acted as a digital partner of the youth educational forum for teenagers from the southern regions “Young Wave. In move". The event took place on the territory of the Sputnik children's complex in the Neklinovsky district of the Rostov region. The national provider organized wired and wireless Internet at the event site. During the forum, more than 14 thousand GB of traffic were received and transmitted over Rostelecom networks.
Sergey Mordasov, vice president in the south, director of the Rostov branch of PJSC Rostelecom:
“Events such as this forum always play a big role in the formation of modern youth, their thinking and future successes. We always try to support talented guys and help train personnel for the digital economy. Our partnership with “Young Wave” has been developing for ten years, and during this time we have seen how the popularity of the forum, the number of its participants and the level of knowledge of the guys are growing. I am sure that many more interesting discoveries await us ahead.”
This year the forum expanded and for the first time was held in three shifts. In total, more than 1,500 participants attended. Each shift was divided into thematic tracks dedicated to ecology, sports, volunteering, patriotic education, tourism, media, culture and creativity.
In addition to digital services, Rostelecom deployed an interactive platform at the forum where participants could relax, listen to music and play VR games. During the daytime, it hosted educational lectures from the provider’s experts. Representatives of Rostelecom told participants about technological trends and professions in IT, cybersecurity, neural networks and other topics useful for the development of youth.
