Rostelecom, together with the IT-cube center for digital education for children [1], summed up the results of the next stage of the IT-family project in the Tula region. Let us remind you that the course is aimed at jointly teaching Internet literacy to older people and their grandchildren. This time the participants were 21 family teams from the city of Bolokhov, Kireyevsky district. Classes were conducted remotely. Over the course of four weeks, teachers introduced students to the basics of cybersecurity and the basics of working in office programs, taught them how to edit texts, create email, make presentations, use cloud storage and much more.
After each online lesson, the teams completed tasks and received points. In the finals, final testing took place in person. Evgenia Ivanovna Grineva and her granddaughter Adelina Rudakova scored the most points. Elena Anatolyevna and Miroslava Brodovsky took second place. The top three were completed by Vladimir Nikitovich Aleshin and Angelina Rudakova. The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts. All participants received certificates and memorable souvenirs from Rostelecom.
Evgenia Ivanovna Grineva, project winner:
“When I agreed to take the course, I couldn’t even imagine that it would be so exciting! It was interesting to complete tasks with my wonderful assistant-granddaughter. In the end, we took first place, which we are incredibly happy about. Another diploma will add to Adeline’s portfolio! For me, the classes were a real discovery: I learned a lot of new and useful things. Thanks to all the organizers for doing such an important and necessary thing!”
