In the spring, Rostelecom provided access to the Network to residents of 1,500 households in gardening non-profit partnerships (SNT), cottage villages and the private sector of cities in five districts of the Kaluga region. The Internet using GPON technology (“optics to the home”) has opened up the opportunity for their residents to connect to any resource-intensive services: from “Cloud video surveillance” to “Smart Home”. The largest number of new contracts for the provision of provider services was concluded in SNT “Vorsino 2” in the Borovsky district and the village of the State Farm “Pobeda” in the Zhukovsky district.

“In our large family, everyone has interests on the Internet: TV with cooking programs and series for the wife, games and studies for the children, work and security for me. When I’m away from home, it’s important for me to be sure that everything is okay with my family, so with the advent of the Internet I decided to install Rostelecom cameras. I control the situation inside the cottage and in the surrounding area through an online application. I can look through the records in the archive if necessary. I set up motion sensors and receive notifications about suspicious situations captured by the camera.”
