Rostelecom has completed filming the second season of the social film project "Because We Are Family" and launched open film screenings and public discussions in the cities participating in the project. The main characters of the new season are children and their parents from different regions of Russia, and the topic of family conversation is feelings, trust and safety. A sincere conversation on the screen today offers a new look at family relationships in a complex digital world, to discuss complex issues of online interaction and new cyber threats.
On January 17, 2025, the premiere of the second season's opening film took place at the Orekhovo-Zuyevo Community Center. Residents of the city, five teenage children and their parents, became the heroes of the first documentary film revelation. More than 200 people saw it on the big screen: friends and relatives of the project participants, ordinary parents with children like them, as well as social educators and psychologists from city schools. After the screening, viewers took part in an open discussion on the topics covered in the film. The heroes themselves and representatives of the film crew answered the audience's questions.
The next open screenings will be held in Tula (January 20), Cheboksary (January 21), Nizhny Novgorod (January 22), Voronezh (January 23), Volgograd (January 31). They will be attended by local residents who agreed to take part in the filming and talk frankly about their feelings, experiences and worries.

The films of the first season of the project "Rostelecom" were created and presented in 2024 as part of the Year of the Family. The cinematic revelations received a lively response from a wide audience, so the filming of the second season took place in December last year. Now the heroes of the mini-films are families from Central Russia, the Volga region and the South.
The first season of the cinematic revelations "Because We Are Family" is available on the project's website , as well as in the film library of the Wink video service. After the series of open film screenings in Russian cities is completed, the second season will also be available online.
