π Tender Overview
Rostelecom equipped all classrooms for the Unified State Exam (USE) with a video surveillance system in the Tyumen region. In 2024, the main period of the Unified State Examination will begin on May 23 and will last until July 5, and the additional period will run from September 4 to September 23, 2024.
The provider's specialists use 1,716 digital cameras installed in 858 classrooms. All devices operate on the basis of artificial intelligence technologies. The online broadcast will be conducted from 54 educational institutions in the Tyumen region and two regional information processing centers.
Veronika Efremova, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Tyumen Region:
βThis year in the Tyumen region more than 10,000 eleventh-graders will take the Unified State Exam. The progress of the exams will be monitored not only by smart cameras, but also by a team of public observers, including students from Tyumen universities and colleges and representatives of the Russian Youth Union. This will ensure equal opportunities for test participants and increase the objectivity of the results of our graduates.β
All digital cameras involved in the project support high video resolution and transmit high-quality sound, and also provide the necessary viewing angle. The frame includes the Unified State Exam participants, as well as the place where exam materials are printed, scanned, and laid out. At the same time, the personal data of schoolchildren, the contents of completed registration forms and answers remain confidential. Video from all audiences is broadcast in real time to a special service portal.
Vladimir Barvinsky, director of the branch in the Tyumen and Kurgan regions of PJSC Rostelecom:
βThe Rostelecom video surveillance system using artificial intelligence ensures complete objectivity when assessing the examination process. To improve reliability, recordings are saved to a local memory card installed in each camera. During the exams, our specialists will monitor the operation of the video surveillance system around the clock, despite its long-deserved reputation as a reliable assistant to the organizers of state certification. All data will be stored in the Rostelecom data center until March 1, 2025.β
