π Tender Overview
Employees must submit applications between January 21 and February 5. Organizations are given 4-5 additional days to check the data and send the lists to the Ministry of Digital Development. From January 21 to February 5, employees of IT companies will be able to apply for a deferment from military service through government services, the Ministry of Digital Development reports.
The spring draft of 2025 provides for new deadlines for filing applications for citizens registered for military service in the Far North and equivalent areas. They can do this until March 6. The employer will see the applications in their personal account and, if the employee's data is correct, will confirm them. If the specialist does not submit their data themselves, the organization will be able to add them to the deferment list.
The agency also writes that from January 21 to February 9 (March 11 for the Far North), companies will need to check employee data, confirm it, and send the lists to the Ministry of Digital Development via public services. Several lists can be sent from one organization as they are formed.
By February 28 (for the Far North - by March 31), the Ministry of Digital Development will transfer the information to the Ministry of Defense. From April 1 to July 15 (for the Far North - from May 1 to July 15), the draft board will make decisions on deferment.
Specialists are included in the lists if they meet the following criteria:
Russian citizenship;
male gender;
age from 18 to 30 years;
work under an employment contract, normal working hours;
higher education in a specialty from the list;
work in accredited IT companies for at least 11 months during the year preceding the start date of conscription. The company must be accredited before February 9, 2025 (for the Far North - before March 11, 2025). The length of service requirements do not apply to those who found work within a year of graduating from the university.
