Russian Federation Laboratory Tender

In December 2018 the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the city of Moscow the Moscow and Tula regions together with the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region stopped illegal activities for the production of counterfeit and unsafe salmon caviar with a view to its subsequent sale under the guise of quality products developed in accordance with regulatory documents of the Russian Federation.In total more than 19 thousand cans of counterfeit products were seized as well as caviar prepared for packaging with a total weight of more than 3.5 tons. In order to assess the risk during the test samples were taken from the detected products for laboratory testing.Laboratory tests on safety and quality indicators including identification of the species of caviar were carried out in the Federal Scientific Institution Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory under the Federal Service for Scientific and Technical Investigations TsNMVL.As a result of laboratory tests the following was establishedin samples of caviar chambers Pearl of Kamchatka detected excess of the number of bacteria of the group of intestinal sticks coliform coliform forms DNA of chum salmon Oncorchynchus keta was not detected in samples of chinook caviar Pearl of Kamchatka an excess of the number of bacteria of the group of Escherichia coli was detected in samples of caviar salmon granular pink salmon - DNA of pink salmon Oncorchynchus gorbusha was not detected excess of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms KMAFanM was detected in samples of pike caviar pasteurized Novinka in samples of salmon caviar Sakhalin Beacons an excess of bacteria was detected in the group of Escherichia coli BGCC coliforms in samples of caviar chum salmon Kamchatka angler - chum salmon DNA Oncorchynchus keta was not detected in the samples of caviar Sakhalin keta an excess of the number of bacteria of the group of Escherichia coli CGPS coliforms and DNA of chum salmon Oncorchynchus keta was not detected in the samples of caviar Sakhalin humpback an excess of bacteria was detected in the group of Escherichia coli CGPS coliforms pink salmon DNA Oncorchynchus gorbusha was not detected however the DNA of chum salmon Oncorchynchus keta was detected in samples of caviar of the Gostovskaya granular chinook an excess of the number of bacteria of the group of Escherichia coli coliform coliform form was detected.The Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor laboratory test results will be sent to the State Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region for inclusion in the materials of the previously instituted criminal case under Part 1 of Article 30 and Part 4 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
