Rostelecom has completed the installation of base stations as part of the implementation of the second phase of the federal project Bridging the Digital Divide UCN 2.0 in the Lipetsk Region. Residents of another 19 villages can now talk on a mobile phone without interference or use the Internet using LTE technology. In 2022 the Volovsky Dankovsky Dobrinsky Dolgorukovsky Lebedyansky Lipetsky Stanovlyansky Usmansky and Chaplyginsky districts were included in the project 1 .Work on the project will continue next year. Next spring the provider will provide stable communications to nine more settlements in the region.Thanks to UCN 2.0 Rostelecom has come to a place where before even an ordinary call was a quest. Now residents of small villages and villages can communicate online with their loved ones make an appointment with a doctor receive public services electronically make purchases and make payments without leaving home. Therefore the social significance of the UCN 2.0 project is difficult to overestimate.
