The insurance rate for compulsory social insurance in case of temporary disability and in connection with maternity is 2.9 in 2018 and 2019. From January 1 2019 the maximum child care allowance to one and a half years for insured citizens will increase to 26152.3 rubles per month.The growth is associated with an increase in the size of the marginal base for the calculation of insurance contributions to the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation. The maximum base for the accrual of insurance contributions is subject to annual from January 1 of the relevant year indexation taking into account the growth of the average wage. Thus the marginal basis for the accrual of insurance contributions to the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation in 2016 was 718 thousand rubles per year in 2017 - 755 thousand rubles per year in 2018 - 815 thousand rubles per year.In connection with the annual increase in the maximum amount of the base for the accrual of insurance contributions to the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation the maximum amount of temporary disability benefits calculated from the insured persons salary subject to insurance contributions increases. Thus in 2018 the maximum amount of childcare allowance for a child under one and a half years for insured citizens was 24502.98 rubles on average per month in 2019 it will be 26152.3 rubles on average per month. In addition maternity and temporary disability benefits will increase. In 2019 the maximum amount of maternity and temporary disability benefits will be 65416.6 rubles on average per month. Insurance tariffs for compulsory social insurance against industrial accidents and insurance payments to victimsIn 2018 32 insurance tariffs from 0.2 to 8.5 differentiated by types of economic activity depending on the class of occupational risk operated in compulsory social insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases. There was also an exemption for payment of insurance premiums for compulsory social insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases in the amount of 60 of the size of insurance tariffs for public all-Russian organizations of persons with disabilities and their organizations as well as for all other employers from disabled people.Similar rates will apply in 2019.
