Rostelecom launched a wireless Wi-Fi network at the industrial site of the Mnogovershinnoye mine in the village of Mnogovershinny Khabarovsk Territory using Russian-made access points. Imported equipment which previously provided wireless Internet was replaced with analogues from the ELTEX company.On the territory of the Mnogovershinnoye mine there are 20 outdoor wireless access points of the leading Russian developer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment the ELTEX company. The installed equipment provides the company with Wi-Fi coverage on an area of 200000 square meters.Wireless access points were purchased as part of a project to create a high-speed data transmission environment in the area of the mouths of adits and at other production facilities of Mnogovershinnoye with a low level of cellular signal. The organized wireless environment is primarily used to transmit data from the positioning system of vehicles involved in work in underground mine workings .
