Rostelecom in the North-West region summed up the results of the 13th competition of regional journalists and bloggers “Together into a digital future”. This year, the strategic partners of the project were the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, JSC RTComm.RU (federal satellite communications operator RTCOMM) and the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment.
Journalists and bloggers from different regions of the North-West submitted 189 articles, audio and video materials to the competition in five main and three special categories. Traditionally, the nomination “Internet media and news agencies” (60 stories) received the most applications; the second position since last year has been held by “Television” (36 stories). 21 publications were submitted in the “Print Press” category.
Representatives of the Republic of Karelia took the most active part in the competition - they submitted 53 works. Next come authors from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (34 materials). The top three were completed by journalists from the Vologda region, who submitted 24 works to the competition.
The summing up took place at the TASS North-West Regional Information Center and was broadcast online. More than 1,150 viewers saw the event live.
