Rostelecom leased six printers equipped with unique Print Service software to the Hermes-Lipetsk plant, a resident of the regional special economic zone, which specializes in the production of industrial hot water and steam boilers. The service allows you to remotely monitor the status of printing devices, the condition of cartridges, other consumables, the level of paper in trays, as well as keep logs of events occurring with the equipment.

“We have been using this service in our branches for more than four years. On the scale of Rostelecom, it made it possible to reduce printing volume by 28% and operating costs by 47%. They offered Hermes-Lipetsk to test the service for several months. When the pilot period came to an end, the client decided to purchase a license for use.”

The Print Service software can be installed on devices from any manufacturer. The service is managed through a special application. It has the ability to create personal print queues, adjust and track tasks for scanning, copying or reprinting documents.
“Print Service” is Rostelecom’s own development, included in the unified register of domestic software.
