๐ Tender Overview
Rostelecom in the Far East awarded journalists and bloggers for covering current events in the telecommunications industry, innovative technologies and digital services. The expert jury of the regional stage of the โTogether into a Digital Futureโ competition identified the best authors by evaluating about 100 submitted publications, stories, broadcasts and posts in four categories. The Far Eastern winners will go to Moscow in June to compete with their colleagues for the main prize - a visit to the world's largest Baikonur Cosmodrome, where the launch of a Russian manned spacecraft will take place.
The All-Russian media competition โTogether into the Digital Futureโ is being held for the 13th time. As part of the award ceremony, journalists from the Far East created a collective video message with ambitious forecasts and plans about what technologies should be like in the future, how their transformation will affect the development of the region, and what services they will write about in their materials over time. The video recording was uploaded to a hard drive and placed in a โtime capsule.โ Five years later, the organizers, together with representatives of the media community, will open the capsule and see which of the predictions have come true.
Andrey Kartashov, vice president, director of the Primorsky branch of PJSC Rostelecom:
โEvery year our competition gains momentum. We see growing interest from the media community in the topic of modern digital technologies and their use in everyday life and in business. I note that there were many new names among the contestants this time. The competition is developing, young talented authors are appearing who are interested in developing professional competencies. We try to support them, help them understand complex technical terms, and show effective technological solutions using real examples that have already been implemented in our region.โ
The largest number of works were sent by authors from the Amur Region (30), Primorye (22) and Khabarovsk Territory (21). The topics of the materials are very diverse: from the consumption of video content and the organization of control over the territory using video cameras, to topics devoted to cybersecurity and the introduction of generative technologies in the largest region of Russia - the Far East.
