📋 Tender Overview
The Video Surveillance service from Rostelecom is already used by more than 500 businessmen in the Kaluga region. The cameras cover production workshops, small shops, and even individual monuments and sculptures. For example, recently in the regional capital a bronze cosmonaut-ophthalmologist installed in the city park of culture and recreation was taken under round-the-clock control.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the provider’s specialists have installed about 250 digital video cameras, with the largest number of connections—about 75%—accounting for small businesses.
Alina Farnieva, sculptor, author of cosmonautics:
“Miniature cosmonautics are one of the calling cards of Kaluga. Recently, an incident occurred: a child ophthalmologist was kidnapped. Today, in its place, to the delight of Kaluga residents and guests, a full-fledged “understudy” has already been installed. To save the figurine from the fate of its predecessor, they decided to install video surveillance. Now Rostelecom’s vigilant camera is watching her tirelessly.”
Vladimir Zavalny, Deputy Director - Director for Corporate and Government Segments of the Kaluga Branch of PJSC Rostelecom:
“The number of business clients using our video surveillance is constantly growing. Company managers and individual entrepreneurs choose an intelligent cloud service because of its ease of use and attractive cost. Our specialists take into account all personal requests and select the optimal tariff plan. Purchase, installation, commissioning - all this is also on our side. The customer must do only one thing: clearly formulate his desire. The story of the astronaut is a special case. In general, the presence of cameras allows you to control any processes online: be it street cleaning, a mass event, or industrial production. And not only in real time, but also in recording: the video is stored in a cloud archive.”
