The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved amendments to the technical regulation "On the safety of packaging". The amendments were prepared by the EEC jointly with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The document provides for the establishment in technical regulations of schemes and procedures for declaring the conformity of packaging (closures) based on standard schemes.
The practice of applying the current technical regulations has been taken into account, and its norms have been brought into line with the Treaty on the Union.
The implementation of the changes guarantees the application of uniform conformity assessment procedures and the comparability of the results of the assessment carried out in each EAEU country.
