π Tender Overview
From September 1, 2026, changes to the order of the Ministry of Transport come into force in Russia, which standardize transport tickets and related documents. This was reported by Kira Doroseva, a member of the public council under the Ministry of Transport. According to Kira Doroseva, the innovations are not aimed at changing the design, but at ensuring legal clarity and protecting the rights of passengers. These changes will affect tickets for city road and ground electric transport. What will change in tickets? Now all tickets for city road and ground electric transport will necessarily reflect the details of: the ticket itself, a baggage receipt, a receipt for hand luggage, as well as a work order for customized transportation. Kira Doroseva explained that this approach means that the document must clearly confirm the fact of purchase of the service and the key conditions of transportation. In particular, this concerns information about who is traveling where and under what conditions, what is included in the price, as well as what rules apply to luggage and hand luggage. Benefits for passengers According to a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Transport, standardization of tickets will help reduce the number of gray tickets. In addition, innovations will make it easier for passengers to prove the fact of purchase and, if necessary, make claims against the carrier. Kira Doroseva emphasized: For us, it is important that the changes work in favor of the passenger: clear documents, uniform requirements and fewer reasons for conflicts - this is a direct improvement in the quality of transport services.
