Since the beginning of the year, Rostelecom specialists have provided residents of 63.5 thousand households in the Moscow region with access to the Network. Optics appeared in 35 settlements in the region. The most large-scale work was carried out in Balashikha, Pavlovsky Posad, Ramenskoye, Sergiev Posad, Shchelkovo.
Elena Kiyan, Deputy Director - Director for Work with the Mass Segment of the macro-regional branch Center of PJSC Rostelecom:
Today our flagship service - broadband Internet access - is acquiring new social significance. In a situation where, for security reasons, the mobile Internet is periodically turned off, home Internet becomes the only guaranteed way for distance learning, remote work, and communication with loved ones. That is why we are increasing the pace of commissioning new communication lines from month to month. This year we plan to provide 115 thousand households in the Moscow region with optics. The work of our specialists in the first half of the year confirms that this goal is achievable.
According to company analysts, 10% of new Rostelecom clients from the capital region choose the Benefit Technologies tariff, which includes Internet at speeds of up to 500 Mbit/s, interactive television and Wink online cinema, as well as mobile communications. Moreover, new subscribers have access to free testing of the services included in this package for 30 days.
Irina Egorova, resident of the village of Kratovo, Ramensky Municipal District:
We previously used the Internet of another company. There were complaints about its work: from periodic access failures to the inability to contact technical support. Therefore, when Rostelecom appeared in our village in April, we immediately switched to it. The first three months showed: The network is working stably, not a single outage or reduction in speed has been recorded yet. We hope it will always be like this.
