Rostelecom has completed the construction of an optical network in Kotelnich, Kirov Region. 3,800 families received the opportunity to connect to high-speed Internet and digital services. Now citizens will be able to quickly load web resources and download large files, watch video content in HD and 4K format, and play online.

When building a fiber-optic network, the cable is routed to the subscribers private house or apartment. A personal line provides stable communication and high data transfer speeds.
When connecting services, Rostelecom specialists install modern sixth-generation routers for subscribers to distribute home Wi-Fi. The devices provide data transfer speeds of up to 3 Gbit/s, a wide coverage radius, the ability to simultaneously connect a large number of gadgets and smart TVs, and guarantee enhanced protection during information transfer.

Im very glad that I finally waited for the Internet! I live in a private house on the outskirts of the city, and until recently I didnt believe that optics would reach us. The network works perfectly - without failures or slowdowns. The most important thing is that wired Internet is always available, unlike the mobile Internet that we used before.
Kotelniche residents who subscribe to Rostelecom services will be able to access the network at speeds of up to 700 Mbit/s, watch more than 200 TV channels, tens of thousands of films and TV series on the Wink video service. Subscribers also have access to video surveillance to ensure home security.
