📋 Tender Overview
Further Step Towards The Digitalisation Of Railway Traffic Management Involving The Pescara-Sulmona, Teramo-Giulianova And Terni-Sulmona Lines, Total Investment Of Around 9.5 Million Euros. The New Multistation Command And Control System (Scc-M) Of The Pescara Central Post Has Been Activated, Created By The Italian Railway Network (Fs Group) In Collaboration With Fs Engineering, With A Total Investment Of Around 9.5 Million Euros. The Intervention Affected The Pescara-Sulmona, Teramo-Giulianova And Terni-Sulmona Lines And Was Completed At The Same Time As The Restart Of The Scc System Of The Ancona-Termoli Section. The Planning Of The Activities Made It Possible To Guarantee Full Integration Of The Systems And Continuity Of Train Circulation During All Activation Phases. The System That Has Come Into Operation, Based On A New Modular And Virtualized Architecture, Represents An Important Step In The Technological Evolution Of The Network. The Solution Also Constitutes A Preparatory Step For Integration With The New Rbc (Radio Block Centre) Systems And With The Development Programs Linked To The Ertms (European Rail Traffic Management System). The New Scc-M Strengthens The Reliability And Resilience Of The Infrastructure And Provides Operators With Advanced Tools For The Supervision And Management Of Traffic. The New Configuration Allows For More Effective Management Of Anomalies And Contributes To Improving The Regularity Of Railway Traffic, Benefiting The Quality Of The Service Offered To Travellers. The Activities Were Carried Out Through Timely Planning And Constant Coordination Between All The Structures Involved, With The Aim Of Containing The Impacts On Railway Operations And Ensuring Compliance With The Scheduled Timescales. The Activation Of The Pescara Central Post, Together With The Similar Intervention Completed On The Same Day At The Milan Greco Pirelli Central Post, Confirms RfiS Commitment To Pursuing The Objectives Of Technological Innovation, Service Quality And Sustainability, In Support Of The Progressive Digitalisation Of Railway Circulation Management.
