Qatar Organize Workshop Tender

The department of civil and architectural engineering at Qatar University QU in collaboration with Engineers Australia hosted the workshop Pavement Deterioration A Study in Qatar at the College of Engineering. The workshop was delivered by Eng. Kanagaraj Muthiah and Eng. Simon Wanklyn from BGE Consulting Engineers LLC.This workshop comes as part of a series of industrial workshops organized by the QU department to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of civil engineering and support the civil engineering practice for both industry and academia at Qatar.The workshop highlighted aspects majorly governing pavement life such as appropriate pavement design right selection of materials good construction practices and suitable operation and maintenance. Moreover the speakers provided information and guidelines for pavement failure analysis and identification of types and causes of premature failure and presented unique experiences from a recent pavement distress evaluation study in Qatar.
