📋 Tender Overview
60-meter infrastructure replaces a speed bump vulnerable to rain and guarantees safer traffic for thousands of residents in the province of Huamanga. The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC), through Provias Nacional (PVN), successfully completed the installation of the Ccayarpachi modular bridge, located at km 171 of the Huancavelica - Lircay - Secclla - Huayllapampa - Julcamarca - Empalme Lagunilla (PE-3S) road corridor, in the district of Santiago de Pisha, province of Huamanga, Ayacucho region.
The new infrastructure, 60 meters long, has a vehicular lane and pedestrian walkways on both sides, which will allow safer movement of the population. The bridge replaces a speed bump that was activated during the rains, repeatedly interrupting traffic and isolating the communities in the area.
The intervention included the assembly of the modular structures, the construction of abutments, work on the substructure and superstructure of the bridge, as well as the cleaning and clearing of the stream. In addition, the necessary road accesses were executed to guarantee an adequate connection with the existing road.
The execution, installation and supervision works were carried out by the Huancavelica Zonal Unit, in coordination with specialists from the National Provias Bridges Directorate.
With the commissioning of the Ccayarpachi bridge, road safety conditions are strengthened for the citizens of the districts of Santiago de Pisha and San Jose de Ticllas, on a strategic route that connects Ayacucho and Huancavelica, also facilitating the transfer of local production to nearby markets and population centers.
The MTC thus reaffirms its commitment to continue intervening in the non-concessioned national road network, guaranteeing vehicular and pedestrian traffic in safe conditions, for the benefit of all Peruvians.
