Several decrees have also been sanctioned on April 10, 2026 by the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, whose summary we present as follows:
-Decree Numbers 54/2026, dated April 10, which approves the Internal Regulations of the Autonomous Public Entity called Equatorial Guinea Projects (GE-PROYECTOS).
This decree consists of a statement of reasons, 10 articles, a transitional provision, an additional provision, a repealing provision and a final provision.
-Decree N55/2026, dated April 10, which approves the Statutes of the Autonomous Public Entity called Equatorial Guinea Projects (GE-PROYECTOS).
This decree consists of a statement of reasons, 23 articles, a transitional provision, a repealing provision and a final provision.
-On April 9, the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguem Mbasogo also sanctioned Decree N56/2026, dated April 9, which grants the foreign subject of Saint Lucia, Mrs. Merlina Moffat Asumu, wife of Mr. Jose Francisco Asumu Bakale, Equatoguinean nationality.
To this end, and to make said right effective, the beneficiary must take, before the Minister of Justice, Worship and Human Rights, the Oath of Fidelity and Loyalty to the President of the Republic, to the Fundamental Law and to the Legal System of the Nation and register as an Equatorial Guinean in the Civil Registry.
