Today, the Government of Saskatchewan released the 2025-26 Public Accounts Volume 2, containing financial information for the General Revenue Fund.
The report provides detailed expense and revenue information for ministries, the Legislative Assembly and its officers. It also includes a summary of pension plan and trust fund balances, a summary of individual pension plans and trust funds, a Statement of Remission of Taxes and Fees, and the Road Use Fuel Tax Accountability Report.
Our government remains committed to transparent and accurate reporting of the use of public funds, Deputy Premier and Finance Minister Jim Reiter said. Saskatchewan is one of the few remaining jurisdictions to publicly provide detailed revenue and expense information at the level found in Volume 2.
Ministry travel expenses in 2025-26 were 45.1 million, an increase of 0.5 million or 1.1 per cent from the previous year.
Communications expenses across government were 12.1 million in 2025-26, a decrease of 1.2 million from 2024-25 (13.3 million). Since 2007-08, communications spending has seen a reduction from 16.8 million to 12.1 million, a decrease of approximately 28 per cent.
Volume 1, containing the Summary Financial Statements, was released on June 30, 2026.
