This initiative will allow more schoolchildren to access technological tools to complement their learning and take advantage of the Internet service provided by the project, contributing to reducing the digital divide and generating greater educational opportunities in localities in the region.
The tablets will be distributed by the Regional Government of Apurimac, through the Regional Directorate of Education, for subsequent delivery to the beneficiary educational institutions, facilitating students access to digital platforms, content and resources that strengthen their skills in the use of information and communication technologies.
The teams have educational platforms and content from the Ministry of Education, which will complement the teaching process and facilitate students access to pedagogical materials.
The delivery is part of the commitment assumed within the framework of the inter-institutional cooperation agreements signed for the transfer of tablets to the regional governments beneficiaries of the regional broadband projects, promoted by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, through Pronatel.
In this way, Pronatel reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting digital inclusion and bringing information and communication technologies closer to more students, contributing to closing the digital divide in rural areas of the country.
